The Iraqi Businessmen Association signed in Amman on Monday a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian Export Council for Chemical and fertilizers Industries on the sidelines of the Jordan International Industries, organized by Jordanian Afaq group for flags and conferences.
The aim of the agreement, which was signed by the Secretary General of the Association, Mohammed al-Hadithy, and for Egyptian side by Dr. Walid Al Hilal, to develop the bilateral economic, industrial and trade relationship between the two countries and the belief in the importance of the Egyptian-Iraqi relations, which is an example for strong and close relations since ancient times.
For his part, Hilal stressed the need to concerted efforts to take advantage of the potential and investment opportunities available in both countries to open up new areas for economic and trade cooperation and increase joint investments.
The agreement stipulate on the need to work to benefit the investors from the trade agreements signed between them or between both of them and the other states and the search for funding opportunities and technical support programs in various forms and make them available to the community , manufacturers , investors and exporters in the two countries on a regular basis, and the preparation of an updated database available to everyone, including all of the investors, producers and exporters.
The agreement applies for a period of one year starting from the date of signing it by the parties and is subject to renewal.
