Air Arabia commenced operations with two aircraft flying to five destinations. It grew quickly to the current fleet sixe of 11 leased and two owned Airbus A320 aircraft traveling to 39 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian sub-continent. By the end of 2007, Air Arabia had carried a cumulative 6.3 million passengers. The company plans to grow its fleet by 34 Airbus A320s and has made a USD 2.8 billion order scheduled for delivery between 2012 and 2015.
