Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is a public joint stock company that provides retail, commercial, investment, merchant, brokerage and fund management activities through its network of 39 branches in the United Arab Emirates and two branches in India.
The Bank is organized into two business segments: Personal Banking, which principally provides personal accounts, loans, credit card services, bank assurance and other related Islamic banking products and services, and Business Banking, which offers financing, cash management, trade and treasury and investment services.
ADCB was formerly known as Khalij Commercial bank was incorporated in 1984. On July 1, 1985, the bank merged with Emirates Commercial Bank and Federal Commercial Bank and subsequently changed its name to Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
