Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, announced that it will host its Capital Markets Forum in Abu Dhabi for the first time on 2 October 2019.
The first Bloomberg Capital Markets Forum Abu Dhabi aims at bringing together private and public finance sector leaders from the UAE and beyond, according to a press release.
The event will highlight the Middle East’s important role in the world economy and the factors impacting the financial markets in the region, in addition to the risks and obstacles faced by investors, Bloomberg indicated.
Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg L.P. and Bloomberg Philanthropies, said: “Global capital markets are facing complex challenges – from trade wars to geopolitical instability to the economic risks associated with climate change.”
“Dialogue between the private and public sectors is essential to strong and stable financial markets. As an important player in the global economy, the Middle East has a key role in shaping these conversations,” he added.
The forum, to be hosted by Michael R. Bloomberg, will take place in the UAE’s capital with the presence of Minister of State and CEO of ADNOC Group Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber and Minister of State and the executive chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh.
