Will Ward is a journalist based in Cairo and the managing editor for the journal Arab Media and Society . He has an M.Phil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from St. Antony's College, Oxford and a B.A. in History and Near Eastern Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks Arabic and Persian.

Christopher Walker started work on the Financial Times before moving to The Times as a senior foreign correspondent covering the Middle East, North and East Africa for 16 years from bases in Cairo and Jerusalem and acting as bureau chief in Moscow during the main Gorbachev period (1985-88). Now a freelance journalist and broadcaster, he regularly comments on Middle East affairs for Sky Television , More 4 News and the British Forces Broadcasting Service .
